Dietetics:

Our professional Dietetics services include nutritional analysis and dietary prescription for both weight management and dietary management of diseases including Heart Disease, Pulmonary Disease, Diabetes, Coeliac Disease, Irritable bowel Syndrome, Nutritional Intolerances, IBS/Crohns, Malnutrition/Under-nutrition, Paediatric conditions and Eating Disorders.

What are Dietitians?

Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs) are recognised professionals with the qualifications and skills to provide expert nutrition and dietary advice and information.  They also have clinical trainging to modify diets to treat conditions listed above APDs have sound university qualifications accredited by DAA, undertake ongoing training and education and comply with the associations guidelines for best practice

What will a Dietitian do?

An initial health assessment including body fat analysis, blood pressure, girths, current food intake, and exercise history.  We can also assess your nutritional needs then develop a personalized eating plan based around the Australian nutritional guidelines.  We can provide you with additional information on healthy meals/snacks/shopping lists, Reading food labels, and how to choose the best foods when eating out or getting take-away meals as well as healthy ways to prepare food at home. 

Exercise Physiology:

Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists can design you an exercise program tailored to your needs to assist you to achieve your goals. Whether your goals are for Rehabilitation, Diabetes, Weight reduction, Osteoporosis, Heart Disease or other Health conditions, we can help you to achieve your strength and fitness goals.

Personal Training:

Let our qualified personal trainers guide you through a range of individually tailored and innovative fitness programs to get you into shape using state-of-the-art commercial cardio equipment and weight training machines/free weights. Push your boundaries and create a new you in just 12 weeks! Your trainer will first do a fitness and health evaluation, from that the trainer will work out a fitness program that is specific to your goals and fitness level.

Pilates:

Strengthen and tone your core at Peninsula Physical health and Nutrition where our qualified Pilates instructors can assist you in prevention and rehabilitation of back and spinal injuries. Pilates targets your pelvic floor to strengthen and maximize your performance for daily activities, allowing you to reach your health and fitness goals. Increase your flexibility, strength, posture and breathing control, as well as increasing your pelvic floor stability, especially before and after pregnancy.

Myotherapy/Remedial Massage:

Myotherapy is the applied science of muscle therapy which is used in the preventative, corrective and rehabilitative phases of therapy. Its function is to restore and maintain the normal integrity of the soft tissue structure including muscle, tendons, ligaments and fascia of the body. With the use of various services including dry needling, cupping, therapeutic ultrasound, massage techniques and more, our Myotherapists can assist you in pain relief and management, allowing you to perform at your optimal health for daily activities, including returning to work.

Our Group Fitness Classes

BOOTCAMP (3x1HR/WEEK)

This 8 week outdoor program is comprised 3 x 1hr fitness sessions and all activities are designed to get the heart-rate up, improve your cardio, stamina and endurance whilst also giving you a solid abdominal work-out.

SUPER CHARGE CIRCUIT (45 MINS)

Held at Mt Martha Primary School. A 45 minute Super high intensity cardio, strength, box-fit, and abdominal circuit guarenteed to make your muscles burn and send your heart into the training zone.

BOX-FIT & SUPER ABS (45 MINS)

This high Energy Combo class combines cardio and strength exercises whilst toning every muscle in your body and is designedto burn maximum calories in minimum time.

ASS AND ABS EXPRESS (30 MINS)

Your Ass and Abs is sure to burn in this intense class where you are guided through a sequence of exercises which are tailored to trim and tone.  You will leave feeling like you have targeted those areas in need and hoping you can still laugh without hurting too much the next day.....Enjoy!

FITNESS PILATES (1 HR)


Designed to tone and tighten the deep core muscles for inner balance, postural alignment, pre and post-natal, injury preventionand rehabilitation. Pilates is suitable for all ages and abilities although an initial core strength and postural assessment is required(contact us for more details.)

CLINICAL PILATES (1 HR)

Clinical Pilates is suitable for people that have musculoskeletal pain or injury. It is particularly good if the symptoms are recurrent or chronic. Pilates can help pain in the back, sacroiliac joint, hip, shoulder, and neck and is safe for all ages and conditions. An individual assessment is performed prior to participating in Clinical Pilates by our qualified Pilates Therapist so that exercises are tailored to specifically target problem areas. Our practitioners closely supervise client’s technique, and grade the movements so that injuries are prevented. Our small classes enable a more hands on approach to managing your condition and exercise program.

Children’s Nutrition and Fitness:

Adults can’t have all the fun – get the kids involved in family fitness sessions and have their diets assessed to ensure they achieve optimal nutrition for growth and development.
