Dietitian and Diabetes Educator
Niki graduated from Deakin University with a Master of Dietetics in 2010. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).
Niki has an interest in the management of diabetes and gastrointestinal conditions. She has undertaken the diabetes education course and is a Credentialled Diabetes Educator. She has also completed the Monash University low FODMAP dietitian course to be better equipped in assisting individuals in managing their intolerances.
Niki’s key areas of expertise include:
• Weight management (weight loss and weight gain)
• Diabetes – Type 1, Type 2 and gestational diabetes
• PCOS
• Cardiovascular health (cholesterol/blood pressure management)
• Gastrointestinal conditions – FODMAPs, Coeliac Disease, Crohn’s, Ulcerative Colitis, Diverticular disease.
Niki’s approach to diet management is flexible and realistic and works with each client to ensure they can make long term sustainable changes. She believes that all food can be enjoyed in moderation and wants to empower her clients with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions about their health.
