Niki Argiros

Niki graduated from Deakin University with a Master of Dietetics in 2010. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a member of Dietitians Australia (DA).

She joined Peninsula Physical Health and Nutrition in 2018 and has since worked in private practice, as well as in the acute, sub-acute, and aged care sectors, delivering menu audits and comprehensive dietary assessments.

Niki has collaborated with aged care facilities to evaluate food service menus to ensure it meets the dietary guidelines for the ageing population to reduce risk of malnutrition as well as provide individualised nutrition plans to aged care residents presenting with poor oral intake.

Niki also has an interest in the management of diabetes and gastrointestinal conditions. She has undertaken the diabetes education course and is a Credentialled Diabetes Educator. She has also completed the Monash University low FODMAP dietitian course to be better equipped in assisting individuals in managing their intolerances.

Niki’s approach to diet management is flexible and realistic and works with each client to ensure they can make long term sustainable changes. She believes that all food can be enjoyed in moderation and wants to empower her clients with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions about their health.
