Who We Are


Kate Save

PPN Director 

Dietitian, Exercise Physiologist and Diabetes Educator

Kate Save is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Accredited Exercise Physiologist. She has completed a double degree in Nutrition/Dietetics and Exercise Science as well as an Advanced Diploma in Diabetes Education. Kate is also currently completing her Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology (she loves learning and keeping up-to-date with the most recent evidence-based science). 

Kate lectures in the fields of Nutrition and Exercise Science for various educational institutions – her key areas of focus are weight loss, diabetes, heart disease, bariatric surgery nutrition, Coeliac disease, eating disorders, food intolerance and irritable bowel conditions. Kate also has been involved in assisting in the development of nutritional science subjects and assessment for Deakin University, Melbourne. 

Kate has years of media experience and enjoys presenting nutrition and health-related segments whenever she gets the opportunity. Her main objective is to assist individuals achieve optimal health and well being through balanced nutrition and appropriate exercise prescription.

Kristen Adams


Kristen Adams is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Accredited Nutritionist, who graduated with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics from Monash University. She is a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA), which involves undertaking yearly professional development to further enhance her nutrition knowledge and skills.

Having previously worked at the Austin Hospital, Kristen has a strong interest in clinical nutrition, working within the hospital setting at Peninsula Private and Beleura Private Hospital. She is also based at numerous private practice clinics across the peninsula, working in conjunction with Peninsula Sports Medicine Group, Melbourne Bariatrics and Victorian Diabetes and Endocrine Network.

Kristen is a firm believer of the motto ‘practice what you preach’ and endeavours to inspire her clients to achieve their personal health and nutritional goals, while providing them with the necessary support along the way.

Her specialist areas include weight management (both general and bariatric), working alongside bariatric surgeons Mr Geoffrey Draper and Mr Niruben Rajasagaram, where she provides dietary advice for clients undergoing weight loss surgery. As well as sports nutrition, diabetes management (including insulin dependent), heart disease and gastrointestinal disorders (including food intolerances, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative colitis).

She has a personal interest in body building and endurance sports, in particular Ironman triathlons.

Prue Mynard


Prue Mynard is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia and Sports Dietitians Australia. She has Master of Health Science and Master of Dietetics degrees from Deakin University, and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Melbourne. Other training includes a carbohydrate counting workshop for individuals on insulin pumpsallergy training for infants and eating disorder training. 

Prue enjoys all aspects of dietetics and especially loves assisting people to achieve their goals by using a whole foods approach to diet and providing education and sharing her knowledge with others. She has been working as a Dietitian since 2012 and her interests include weight management, navigating food intolerances and allergies, eating disorders, diabetes and carbohydrate counting, children’s nutrition, especially infants, bariatric surgery and sports nutrition. 

Prue is passionate about health and nutrition. She has a lifelong passion for food and believes in using food as medicine to improve overall health and well-being. She loves spending time in the kitchen developing recipes and cooking nutritious, wholesome food for her family and friends. Prue has her own recipe blog www.whatspruecooking.com.au which includes a range of healthy, balanced and nutritious recipes for the whole family. Prue was previously a qualified running coach and has coached runners from beginners through to marathon runners, as well as completing three marathons herself.

Nicola Lee

Dietitian, Sports Dietitian and Exercise Physiologist

Nicola Lee is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (Dietitians Association of Australia), Accredited Sports Dietitian (Sports Dietitians Australia) and Accredited Exercise Physiologist (Exercise and Sports Science Australia) Nicola has a double degree in Nutrition/Dietetics and Exercise/Sports Science from the University of Sydney. She is currently completing the International Olympic Committee diploma in Sports Nutrition. 

Her key areas of interest in nutrition are weight loss, team sports nutrition, treatment of chronic diseases including diabetes and heart disease, bariatric surgery, oncology, pre- and post-natal nutrition and adolescent nutrition. 

Nicola’s aim as an exercise physiologist is to enable anyone and everyone to be physically active and achieve their exercise, sport and activity goals.
She has spent the past three years working in regional New South Wales and has recently joined the PPN team. She loves playing sport, exploring the outdoors and experimenting with new and healthy recipes in the kitchen.

Niki Argiros

Dietitian and Diabetes Educator

Niki Argiros graduated from Deakin University with a Master of Dietetics in 2010. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA). 

Niki has an interest in the management of diabetes and gastrointestinal conditions. She has undertaken the diabetes education course and is a Credentialled Diabetes Educator. She has also completed the Monash University low FODMAP dietitian course to be better equipped in assisting individuals in managing their intolerances. 

Niki’s key areas of expertise include:  

  • Weight management (weight loss and weight gain) 
  • Diabetes – Type 1, Type 2 and gestational diabetes 
  • PCOS 
  • Cardiovascular health (cholesterol/blood pressure management) 
  • Gastrointestinal conditions – FODMAPs, Coeliac Disease, Crohn’s, Ulcerative Colitis, Diverticular disease. 

Niki’s approach to diet management is flexible and realistic and works with each client to ensure they can make long term sustainable changes. She believes that all food can be enjoyed in moderation and wants to empower her clients with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions about their health.

Brooke Norman


Brooke Norman is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and member of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA), who graduated from Deakin University with a Master of Dietetics in 2017. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor of Food and Nutrition degree, graduating in 2014 with a major in Exercise Science.  

Brooke believes nutrition is relevant to all people, and that education enables change. She has spent a few months volunteering overseas in India and Thailand, teaching on the importance of nutrition throughout all life stages and working with groups and individuals to promote healthy eating and food safety.  

Brooke started working as a Dietitian for Be Fit Food in 2017, where she worked with clients to achieve their nutrition and weight loss goals, as well as assisting with recipe and meal development.  

Brooke joined the team at Peninsula Physical Health and Nutrition in 2018, where she works in the clinical setting at Peninsula Private and Beleura Private Hospital. She also works in the private practice setting across a number of clinics on the peninsula. Her areas of interest include cardiovascular disease, oncology, diabetes, women’s health (including pre- and post-natal nutrition and PCOS), and gastrointestinal issues including food intolerances, coeliac and diverticular disease.  

Brooke also has a keen interest in sports nutrition, having been a competitive swimmer throughout her youth and working as a swimming coach for 6 years. She has worked as a dietitian for a number of sports teams, including most recently the Frankston Dolphins VFL team.
