Who We Are



Director – Kate Save

Dietitian, Exercise Physiologist, Diabetes Educator & Personal Trainer

Kate is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian, Accredited Exercise Physiologist, has completed a double degree in Nutrition/Dietetics and Exercise Science, and completed an Advanced Diploma in Diabetes Education. Kate is also currently completing her Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology (only because she just loves learning and keeping up to date with the most recent evidence-based science). Kate lectures in the fields of Nutrition and Exercise Science for various educational institutions – her key areas of focus are Weight loss, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Bariatric Surgery Nutrition, Coeliac Disease, Eating Disorders, food intolerances and irritable bowel conditions. Kate also has been involved in assisting in the development of nutritional science subjects and assessment for Deakin University, Melbourne. Kate has years of media experience and enjoys presenting Nutrition and Health-related segments whenever she gets the opportunity.

Her main objective is to assist individuals achieve optimal health and well-being through balanced nutrition and appropriate exercise prescription.

Kristen Adams

Kristen Adams


Kristen is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian who has a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics. Kristen practices what she preaches as she believes that the key to good health is consuming a balanced diet
and participating in regular exercise. Kristen’s key interest areas include clinical nutrition within the hospital setting, as well as weight management, muscle building, diabetes, heart disease and food
intolerances. She endeavours to inspire her clients to achieve their personal nutritional goals whilst she provides them with the necessary support along their journey. Kristen also has a strong passion
in long distance running, having undertaken numerous fun runs, and has a personal interest in body sculpting.


Katie McKean


Katie works across clinics in Mornington, Rosebud and Sorrento, as well as taking on a clinical work load at both Peninsula and Beleura Private Hospitals.

Katie has had a lifelong passion for food and nutrition and understanding the way in which diet can affect our health and wellbeing. Following this passion, Katie has completed her Masters of Dietetics as well as a Bachelor of Food Science and Nutrition and the Graduate Diploma of Education, specialising in Food Technology. Katie is interested in all facets of Dietetics and enjoys continually increasing her knowledge in the management of a diverse range of conditions. She has a particular interest in diabetes management, gastrointestinal disorders, endurance sports nutrition and the clinical setting.

Katie aims to impart her knowledge in nutrition as well as share her passion for healthy food with others in order to assist them in living a healthier life. In her practice Katie endeavours to create a positive relationship with food as she believes it is something that should be enjoyed.

Katie enjoys being active and is also a keen cook and has enjoyed spending time in the kitchen for as long as she can remember.


Prue Mynard


Prue has completed a Masters of Dietetics, Masters of Health Science and a Bachelor of Science. She has always had a strong passion for health and nutrition and enjoys assisting people to achieve their nutrition related goals. Her special interests include Sports Nutrition, Weight Management, Bariatric Surgery Nutrition, Food Intolerances, Children’s Nutrition, including infants, and Diabetes.

Prue is also a qualified running coach, and has coached runners from beginner to marathon level, as well as running 3 marathons herself. She believes that by achieving a well balanced diet, combined with appropriate exercise, all goals can be achieved.

Nicola Lee

Dietitian, Sports Dietitian and Exercise Physiologist

Accredited Practising Dietitian, Accredited Sports Dietitian and Accredited Exercise Physiologist and has a double degree in Nutrition & Dietetics and Exercise & Sports Science from the University of Sydney. She is currently completing the International Olympic committee diploma in Sports Nutrition.

Her key areas of interest in nutrition are weight loss, team sports nutrition, chronic disease including diabetes and heart disease, bariatric surgery, oncology, pre and post-natal nutrition and adolescent nutrition.

Nicola’s aim as an exercise physiologist is to enable anyone and everyone to be physically active and achieve their exercise, sport and activity goals.

Nicola has spent the last 3 years working in outback New South Wales and has recently joined the PPN team. She loves playing sport, exploring the outdoors and experimenting with new and healthy recipes in the kitchen.


Caroline Naughton

Diabetes Educator 

Caroline has over 20 years experience as a Diabetes Educator in both public & private sectors. She graduated in nursing from St Vincent’s Hospital and has since worked in various areas of diabetes in Melbourne and on the Mornington Peninsula.Caroline assists to improve knowledge and understanding about diabetes, and enable clients to develop meaningful & effective strategies for dealing with all aspects of their diabetes management.


Brittany Gardner


Britt is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics. Britt is a lover of all things sporting related, also being a Personal Trainer and Ironman Triathlete. She has a passion for preventative health and nutrition therapy and loves being able to empower people to optimise their health. She is committed to patient care and being able to provide practical, evidence based strategies for people to develop healthy relationships with food and improve their nutrition health. Her areas of interest include diabetes management, heart disease, weight management and sports nutrition.


Olivia Bourne

Administration Assistant  

Olivia is studying for her VCE at Toorak College.  She has been working along with our staff at PPN to help ensure paperwork and administration is kept in order. Since working at PPN, Olivia has taken an interest in food, nutrition and health and has enjoyed learning from our friendly dieticians.

We now have HICAPS,MEDICARE ONLINE and EFT facilities too. We accept Medical referrals and Enhanced Primary Care plans (EPC’s) for instant Medicare rebates as well as DVA (Department of Veteran’s Affairs – Home Visits available), Workcover/Worksafe, and TAC.
